Washing and fitting liquors, needed in soap making plant, are prepared in this unit.

Washing liquor is made by both centrifuges recycled lye and fresh feed (water, caustic soda and salt, which are necessary to replace the lye exiting the soap plant).

Fitting liquor is made batchwise into a weighed and stirred vessel, then is discharged to an intermediate vessel. From that vessel lye is metered to the plant by a dosing pump.
