SAPONIFICATION and COOLING (SN-2)

Caustic soda solution and oil are emulsioned by a centrifugal mixer. The so obtained emulsion is feed to the special alloy tube reactor, which is designed to ensure complete saponification.

Exiting from the reactor, soap is mixed and cooled by a liquor which has appropriate composition and temperature; that lye is the one recovered from the washing tower and cooled by meaning of a water exchanger.
